On your first entry into a Tunisian port, a one time entry declaration must be filled out to which the police will affix a visa. The other side of this document is filled out once by the customs and will serve as a "libre pratique" for a six months transit permit for the boat. This document, to be presented at the request of authorities in other ports of Tunisia will dispense with all other formalities.
